The cast iron breasts came from an old H.W. Carters & Sons (as in overalls) factory in Lebanon, NH (courtesy of AVA, The Alliance for the Visual Arts). They are spool-holders for thread. This piece was donated to AVA to be auctioned at the Grand Opening of their renovated space in November, 2007.
